Price:
For a 3 month package:
PS Plus: $17.99
Xbox Live: $24.99

1 year subscription:
PS Plus: $49.99
Xbox Live: $59.99

With Bing, you may use Bing Awards to get around 500-1000 points to earn Xbox Live for a few months.
PSN, you must buy it off a store or use a trial code which could last a month. Credit card needed for trial to be activated.

Xbox One: $499.99 with controller and Kinect.
Playstation 4: $399.99 with just the controller

Match making:
Sony and Xbox would both have cloud dedicated servers.
Xbox so far has Call Of Duty: Ghost set for dedicated servers.

Lag: It's going to be up to your connection for the lag. Sony is not held responsible for your connection.
Minimum requirements to have a nice gameplay with lag free:
5 MB/s download
2 MB/s upload
1-70 Ping average
Wired connection preferred.
DSL or Cable.

Bugs: We do not know any bugs yet since the console is not released.

Xbox One: 9/10 because of it's Cloud server based, some exclusive games like Tatinfall coming to Xbox, and Also Dead Rising 3. One thing I do not like is to be forced to buy Kinect when you are not going to use it most of the time.

PS4: 10/10 - since Playstation Plus offers more games and content than what Xbox offers, PS4 is cheaper, games like Killzone Shadow Fall or Drive-club racing.

Bandwidth has nothing to do with latency Winky Winky
Ping is due to a number of factors more than 90% are out of your control.

As of right now I get a better service with xbl compared to PSN it remains to be seen if Sony can improve even with fees.

Since psn is at some point going to allow backwards compatibility for ps3/ps2/ps1 games through their online service i have to assume its a gpu cloud server to allow for hardware emulation. So going out on a limb their servers if setup like that cost a lot more and we all hope will be able to push us to our house hold internet limits. Why i say this all the games that will at some point be supported are spose to be streamed to your system.

Xbox live on xbox one = Tumbleweeds and more dedicated servers
PS4 network = Bigger community so even small games will have decent community and less ghost towns.

It is GPU/CPU heavy cloud servers. Older titles are only meant to be streamed PS4 titles Sony are going to reduce the bottlenecks download wise so you get to play it faster.
From my understanding the PS4 has a built in chip to decode the download data as you play so need to wait.
I still have doubts about how many bottlenecks along with improving the service they have a lot of work to do.

ya i mean with all the bad decisions Microsoft made and is going to make down the road , at least they have more kown issues then unknown with how sony has done things. They tell you about features but dont really go into detail of how they plan to roll these out in a convenient way for users.
