That ps1 console though! Where my sony gaming days all started.

For the people that dont know what #PlayStationMemories was it was a thing on twitter where people would use that hash tag and post their PlayStation memories from across the whole PlayStation era to date.

This video was created from though facts that many people posted.

It was funny seeing the start up images of PS1 & PS2; PS4 startup looks sweet.

Funny the memories that brings back -
PS1 my then GF (now wife of 10years + 4kids) shared an apartment in Dublin.
PS2 we lived in my parents converted attic (saving for house deposit).
PS3 shortly after moving into our 2nd house (1st house broken into 3times - PS2 & all games stolen).
PS4 will try and keep it away from my kids mentioned above!!!

And then games - the launch sound of a GT race, Snake dying (again), the sheer fun of ISS, the shadows of Splinter Cell, the many many many Tekken fights, trying to figure out Final Fantasy (failing), Syphon Filter, playing GTA for the first time, SSX...damn I could go on & on.

@ Lew - multi quote still not working - yep funny how you can map 15 years of your life and relate them to gaming!

Dad's and Playstations!
I once tried to explain to my Dad how trophies worked on PS3, I then made the mistake of telling him that I sold said trophies on a gaming website to one or two gamer friends...explaining quantum physics would've been easier.

Still recon they should have changed the font for the ps4 from the ps3 slim, it suggests that it is a continuation of the ps3 whereas it is is trying to differentiate itself from it (ie no backwards compatibility). Simple (unnecessary) point, but still.
Back on topic, I fucking loved my original PS (not even the 'one'!) sooooo many game hours clocked, and classic games such as MGS, FF7, FF8, Syhphon Filter, LoK Soul Reaver, Tomb Raiders... fantastic console.
Either way, I want a ps4, but will wait for the inevitable slim, as much as it's gonna kill me.

I don't think they gonna do a slim version of the PS4 lol.

Haha that would be funny as I've already seen a lot of people saying they're going to hold out for the slim version!

But like day follows night there will be new iterations.
