Is it me or can you only download games?

It's actually 10sec of UI and 20 sec of looking/nothing, and then it's repeated 3 times xD But it's looking good

no there is a bluray player , they wanted to do away with disk based games soon so there forcing us to get used to all digital also makes the isp companies start working with other companies to either do caching servers to fix bandwidth issues or upgrade their networks.Comes with 500gb hdd so its more or less encouraged to use it as you can pre download games from pre-orders which is nice

blame your isp , caching servers could be provided by companies like sony so they arnt using their bandwidth its just redirecting you somewhere to download and put load on theirs most isp dont do this cause they want you to pay them money for bandwidth and control what your doing, which is downloading 13gb files at a cap of 3mbps for 15hrs cause they stop it halfway through at least thats what they do with me. Btw im quoted for 50mbs download explain that one

Yeah, Sony doesn't allow that kind of access to that much bandwidth; I can't recall what they allow. Who is your ISP?
