It all appears to be very smooth much like how the Vita works when it switches between applications.

Speaking of the Vita the footage also shows the handheld’s remote play functionality, and we’re shown how it links up with that PS4 Link app, which was part of today’s Vita 3.0 Firmware update. The footage doesn’t truly show off the graphical power of the PS4 due to being captured off screen.
