No you can't. Example.. If you buy something, like a game. You will only be able to start it while signed into your account. So if one of your friends wants it he will have to stay signed into your account to play it and you will not be able to play it. Basically only the owner of the downloaded content can start and play it.

Thanks mate.

With the impending launch I've read as much as possible on the PS4, thought I read somewhere that they had a notification similar to that on PS3 that 2 consoles could have content, independent of each other.
But I've probably mistaken this with all the current info out there.

Well two consoles can have the same content. But the content can only be played on the account which payed for them.

My account is EU and we set his as US because of the psn stores.
We both have PS+ and we both (obviously) gameshare from each other.

So I'm wondering if we can both continue what we've been doing on PS3 to PS4?

Well if you both read that theory above you probably can still share. Say for example jedt sets his sons ps4 as his primary and his son sets jedt's ps4 and his primary, you will both be able to use each other's things as well as your own.

Anyone on the console which you chose as your primary can play the content.

Will only work with 2 people though.

Correct me if I'm wrong?

Well hope is a good thing!

Only problem, like you, I'll be getting mine in the next 3 weeks, my boy won't be getting his for another 3/4/5 months.
You think I should set my brand new shiny PS4 as my son's primary...aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrggggghhhhhh feels like someone strangling me...haha!

Ok cool.
TBH I don't see the rationale of him having my console as his primary and vice versa - what difference does that make.
What is the difference between him having his as his primary and mine as mine?

Granted I am a little thick!

Not true if it's activated as the home/primary console.

You won't be able to share lol you would only be able to play your stuff on his console and he'll only be able to play his stuff on your console.

The ps4 you activate as your 1st console will be the home one which anyone can use the content, even if you was signed in on another ps4 elsewhere playing your stuff if I understood Sony correctly.

Does that make it a little better for you xD

I understand the part that you can login to any psn account and play as that person - cool.
I also get the part that you can login on any PS4 and play your account.

Trying to get my head around the whole primary account thing. If my boy has his primary account on my console and vice versa. Lets say I bought Fifa14 on my account would we be able to play against each other online with both consoles - much the way you can with 2 x PS3?
