Yes. If you buy an electronic item, you as a customer has 2 years of warranty. Yet, this coverage is only for the shop you bought it in.
This is because Sony only gives the 1st year of warranty, in the second year the shop has to provide you the 2nd year and cover the expenses. On a PS3 system it is a fixed price of €99 out of warranty.
I do happen to know this because i work for a major player in electronics in Europe, in the after sales department. (MediaMarkt)

I'm on the US version of PSN and how come they have 36 months instead of 24 on the PSN store with the same pricing? Not that I'm hating the extra 12 months but what's the differences between calling Sony and buying it from PSN ?I took a screenshot with the PS4 share function and blur out my name.

Wonder how many times you can purchase this, and if it has to be purchased before your warranty runs out.

I'm very much so considering the 60 dollar one for my PS4 that covers ADH. Wonder if that covers the controllers too, and if it does is it only the one that came with the system or any official PS DS4.

I've read you can only purchase an extened warranty once as the same rules apply to other electronic here in the US so idk about other countries. For ADH you have to buy it from 30 of purchase ( when you picked it up) the non ADH 1 year from date of purchase. As for warranty for the controller it covers what came in the box such as HDMI cable, power plug, controller, and system. Unless you buy another offical controller they come with their own warrenty. I haven't read the warrenty sheet that came with the PS4 but I Assume this is the basic covarge range the same as The PS3 when I got it 4 years ago.

Be carefull with extended warranties, most of the time they don't cover the accessories. I havent read it so i wouldn't know. But it's just a heads up.

(Accessories ment in controller, hdmi cable & headset that come in the box).
