Buy an Elgato and trust me, it would make life much easier. You could use your HD PVR on the PS4, but it won't be as clear and good as the elgato features since it's HDMI.

You will be able to record via HDMI just not yet. Sony will release a patch that will disable HDCP on the PS4 when playing games but it will be enabled when watching movies (yeah thats right you pirates :argh

They are on amazon everywhere. If you want to get one now. Just make sure you do not go too cheap on them because there will more than likely be a quality difference.
