(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm a hoarder when it comes to games so I'll be full and out of disk space after a month or two so I'll be needing to upgrade my hdd. I'm looking at getting at least a 1TB drive minimum.

I've been recommended a few already which I'll list below:

1. You must login or register to view this content.

Is there any that you would recommend to get?

Maybe you have one already, what is it like, reliable?

Nope, you may as well just upgrade it'll save a USB port then.

I'll probably get a 1tb sshd by the sounds of it they are the ones to get.

Ive also bought the seagate 1tb hybrid. Not for speed but for reliability.

It was either that or the western digital black but that only comes with a maximum capacity of 750gb

so i chose the seagate.

I will then purchase a caddy and use the included 500gb hardrive as an external for movies etc.

Worth the Weight
Please do keep in mind that if you are using this to store primarily movies and photos on, you do not need an SSD by any stretch of the imagination.

If you are however planning to play games and really care about loading times, you could use a Hybrid drive (If those even work properly on consoles).

A SSD on a console is a nono. It will probably degrade quickly and they are extremely expensive for storage purposes, but if you have money to blow you could do that.

And please for the love of God, every single drive from Hitachi that I have ever had has broken down on me. It could be bad luck, but I prefer Seagate or WD over any other drive.
