(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm a hoarder when it comes to games so I'll be full and out of disk space after a month or two so I'll be needing to upgrade my hdd. I'm looking at getting at least a 1TB drive minimum.

I've been recommended a few already which I'll list below:

Is there any that you would recommend to get?

Maybe you have one already, what is it like, reliable?

From experience i recommend the samsung/seagate.

Always reliable and it has never let me down.

I would recommend a SSD but seeing as they're so expensive, I would go for a hybrid SSD which still performs a lot better than the standard HDD but not as good as a pure SSD but very close!
Either one of these two:

I would recommend hybrids over standard HDD's as they perform faster and seeing as there is a large amount of data to install, hybrids will be read quicker and loading times should be reduced Smile

I would definitely go with the Samsung/Seagate. I currently have two 1tb Seagate HDDs and I've never had a problem with either of them. One I've had for about a year and the other I've had for about 3 years now and I use them constantly with no problems. Smile

yes PS4 supports up to 2TB, though it has to be 2.5" 9mm

2tb 9.5mm will be out soon but probably too expensive

whats this ive read that ssd's in consoles arent good as they are continuously reading and writing data, it kills the lifespan or something? thats why ive not put ssd and only hdd?

im new to these hybrids though, only heard of them since the other day.
