Yeah stuff like this is bound to happen, watch the Xbox launch it'll be the same. You can never make all this perfect there will be some defects.

It's just because it's new, people can make a fuss about it and get 'views'.

I'd be more concerned about swapping it for a new console then moaning lol

Failure rates for the PS3 was put at 3% one study but we don't have the numbers.
The average failure rate for tech products is 15% for devices over 3 years old.
Laptops/Desktops have the highest rate at 40% along with 30%.
