1st thing id do myself was delete the patch and reinstall, i dont know how ps4 works in terms of patches ect but if its in game data or its separate id try delete that aswell and reinstall it to if the reinstalling patch didnt work, ie a fresh install & patch.

tried it twice same problem. missing the online play.

Just so everyone knows the game will work patch or not what causes the crash is being connected to PSN just disconnect your PlayStation from the internet and you can play offline campaign, squads or MP local. I have already called Activision and they have no ETA and only tell you to reference Sony's knowledge base.
