Post: HDD issue

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Ok, so I just got a new sshd (solid state hybrid drive) for my ps4 and before I ever turned it on my first move was pulling the cover off so I could install the new hard drive, well anyway it would not boot to the hard drive whatsoever, my ps4 kept booting in safe mode and would not allow me to update to the new software via USB. After about 30 minutes of rage thinking I got a shitty ps4 I decided to put the stock hdd back in and it booted fine. The one I ordered looks absolutely fine, windows recognizes it and it looks like it meets the requirements. Any ideas let me know please before I send this back for an rma. I attached the link of it below You must login or register to view this content.

You're Goddamn Right
no reason why it shouldnt work, try boot up the drive on pc and format it

you then use option 7 in safe mode

FYI I FIXED MY ISSUE. WHEN I PLUGGED MY USB IN TO THE PS4 IT WAS NOT RECOGNIZING THE UPDATE BECAUSE IT WAS THE WRONG ONE APPARENTLY THERE ARE 2 (1 320MB AND 1 900~MB) I DOWNLOADED THE 320MB ONE WHEN I NEED THE 900MB UPDATE ONCE I DID THAT EVERYTHING WORKED FINE.
