Cause I want to download it and then sell the PS3 disk to GameStop hoping to have a full game download on my PS4 hard rive without having to use the CD to play BF4..

you have to have it in the ps4 to play the game.

yes you need to have the disc in your ps4 for it to work

I'm not so sure about needing to keep the disc in it because I didn't have to keep the disc in for ghosts

If you have the ps3 game ghosts and use the upgrade code then you do. Or should have to it says on the thing.
