Someone has got hold of the european ps4 box and discovered that these are being made in japan, it also show it on the console itself too.

From what i understand you get better quality things from japan than you do china, i wonder if this will make any difference at all?

Can any of our american friends double check their consoles and clarify, does this mean these ps4's will be built better with lesser defected consoles, only a week until we find out who knows it could be worse!

If they really are being made in Japan then Sony is trolling Japan so hard since they don't get one till February! LMAO

This is rather interesting. The quality in difference should be noticeable to some extent, obviously I would expect those manufactured in Japan to be relatively better built (lower DOA rate is really what I mean). However, contrary to popular belief there aren't any children working on the assembly lines that Sony KNOWS about. Sony simply outsources a contract to someone like Foxxcon to build the Playstations for them, they take the owners on their word that there are no people there who are under the legal working age.
