Post: PSN passwords reset due to irregular activity

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Live in North America and experiencing problems logging into PSN with your password? According to a notice on the official US PlayStation forums it might have been reset due to some "irregular activity" on the service.

"If you are getting an error that your PSN account password is incorrect, you may need to reset it," the notice reads. "We routinely monitor for irregular activity, and if such activity is detected, we may sometimes reset passwords of affected SEN accounts to protect consumers and their account information."

This follows a similar reset on the European PSN last week, and is likely a precautionary measure which will affect only a small number of users. Still, let us know if you've had any problems with your account and we'll be sure to report any updates.

i got a message on my ps4 that my password needed to be changed.

had to change my password upon starting my ps4 up today, can only think it must of been because i signed in on my brothers ps3 or gf's ps3? abit of a inconvenience lol
