Speaking on You must login or register to view this content. (via GI), Aaryn Flynn, General Manager at BioWare Edmonton and Montreal, said, "Great time playing the next Mass Effect game in Montreal,” adding: “Ambitious. Beautiful. Fresh but recognizable. And fun.”

Mass Effect 4, as it's tentatively known as by the gaming press, is confirmed to run on the Frostbite 3 engine, and will be a departure from the story focusing on Commander Shepard in the original trilogy.

BioWare hasn't yet revealed whether the sci-fi RPG sequel will take the form of a prequel or a sequel.

Hmmm.
Well it should really be for next gen too.

it is being made on frostbite 3 not 2 thats a typo as it was stated a while back from the same guy it was on 3
