As more PC-exclusive titles make their way over to PlayStation 4, the big question many will be asking is how Sony's new console will stack up graphically. Well, good news for PlanetSide 2 players planning to migrate to the console version -- it'll look pretty darn good.


You must login or register to view this content., PlanetSide 2creative director Matt Higby revealed "The PS4 version will be nearly identical to the PC version, with the exception of the User Interface."


"If you turned up your PC version to Ultra, that's how it's going to look on PS4," he added when prodded for a graphical comparison. So if you're like me and own an average PC rig, you might be better off going with the PS4 version.


Of course, PlanetSide 2 will also include a few PS4-specific features, such as the system's DualShock 4 touchpad being integrated into the User Interface. As Higby explained, the DS4's touchpad will be used to make menu navigation more seamless and "PC-like." PlanetSide 2 will also support Remote Play at launch, so those of you who own a Vita will be able to able to stream gameplay footage directly to your handheld, freeing up the TV for other uses.


Other than that, much of PlanetSide 2's gameplay and core concepts will remain completely identical to the PC version making the switch seamless. Do you plan on playing PlanetSide 2 on PS4 when it releases?

I've seen a few of you post about this game before, Waiting for news on it and i came across this so maybe you'll benefit it! Seems like its going to look pretty nice then

I cant wait for the game to be released. I tried it on PC but i sucked because I'm a noob when it comes to mouse and keyboard

To think the PS4 hasn't been out long and game dev's haven't had much time with it and that's what are can do? What can they do in 1/2 years time!

thx for the info. but, im not into mp only games.

They have had the specs for awhile ps4 is similar to a amd a10 apu so if current games are already taxing it I can't imagine how long it will take them to run out of breathing room on then graphics.

cool game , i played it a bit on pc - I just hate games being on PS4 without trophies
