(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I for one have always's loved the Tomb raider games, that being said I am going to be un-biased here.

For us platform, adventure addicts we're getting the opportunity to re-visit Lara Croft's 2013 hit game
on the magnificent PlayStation 4.

Lara Croft Definitive Edition

You must login or register to view this content.

Here are the Pro's.

1 . Re-designed ( new additions, aesthetically, the physics, the particles, the lighting – taking advantage of next-gen features )

2 . Immersive ( A beautiful story line where at moments your biting your nails others, feeling Lara's experience pain, joy, sadness )

3 . Gift's ( With pre-ordering The Definitve Edition, you will recieve never before seen art book as well as a DLC and some extra outfits for Lara )

The Con's.

1 . Lacking ( In shock and awe moment's as you''ll already experienced them on last Generation Consoles )

2 . Gamble ( 60$ for a game that has a promise of looking pristine new and shiny with bell's and whistles )

3 . Choice ( Why pay the 60$ price tag when I could get a completely new title designed for the PS4 itself )

The PlayStation 4 pumps out an amazing feat in console technology, even rivaling mid range Pc's currently,
in term's of up-scaling a PS3 port I have no doubt it will not only do what it say's on the box but go that mile
further.

The Verdict 'is it worthy' ?.

If I hadn't previously played this wonderful, eye watering, stunning 'motion painted' game I would go large
and bet on it and give it a chance.

I have played Lara Croft's magical 2013 re-boot and would gladly double dip back into this astonishing world.

Hope I cleared some doubt's and you enjoyed reading happy new year everyone Happy.

so instead of using a cheap ssao its going to use hdao/hbao,the lighting is actually going to allow reflections and object lighting to work correctly there going to improve a non needed face model of lara. Then update the physics to actually have boundaries for the hair to bounce back against instead of going through her body and dropping your fps for some un godly reasons. this sounds like their saying were gonna give you the pc fix's we should have given months ago.The improved lighting well its more then likely just high res soft shadows with the game running at 2x super sampling which is why there saying nothing about the frame rate or promising 60 as that would be pushing the ps4 gpu, so your getting a botched xbox one version with this if they do use super sampling as i doubt they will go back and make it so multi sampling will work , and tbh msaa sucks dick to other aa filters if you use a subpixal shader and combine it with a temporal super sampling you get better results then 4x msaa at low cost and its a post effect (throwing my opinion in)
btw sub pixal shading is done before the rendering so its the same idea of doing super sampling but is only done once instead of 16x

Wow that was a lot of tech talk but I muddled through.

In term's of what you have stated yes you are wright and in some bits your wrong as they said it would run
at 60 Fps but that was on twitter so may not be that 'solid'.

No one knows the quality that it will be just that the game is fun and worth a go especially if your new to it as I always
say 'each to their own'. Happy
