Not unless we keep on at them, I'm sure everyone would like to know when their friends come online or go offline. There's nothing worse than waiting in a party for someone only to find out that they've gone offline!

Having to keep checking the friends list is long, don't you agree?

We should go to the official PlayStation forums, the ps4 section and make threads about everything we want, cause a stir and get stuff we all want noticed by them.

i know right, i posted on the official forums and most of them are so up themselves and are like oh no we dont want that, with 2000 people coming online and offline all the time it will be bad, when really they've got like 5 friends and are anti social.

something that shoud never of been left out, there should of just been option to deselect people to stop notifications from them.

maybe there working on something like this. as i would be pissed if i had 200 ppl and 20 of them signed in at the same time lol

I'm sure it'll be like ps3 either have them on or off, but this time we should have the option to mark favorites so we get notifications from those people, or just a option to tick people and untick people to choose who we notified from.

Definitely needs to be implemented I'd say.

I just don't see why they left it out. It's not as if it didn't work on PS3 or it made it laggy or interfered with gameplay . It was perfect!

i also liked the feature on ps3 that showed how long they had been offline for, i think they should bring that back as well.

What makes it even worse is, it would take like 5 or 10 minutes to code, about 20minutes to test and then another 10 or so minutes to fix any possible bugs.

They're just pushing it out.

Also, people saying 'omg what if 100 people come on at one time' well the chance of that happening is very little, and if it was to happen it would only show the most recent person in the list. So if there is 100 people, it'll show the 100th person, not every single person individually as they never did that on the PlayStation 3. People have no common sense.

Exactly!

There's loads of things that the ps3 has that the ps4 doesn't, i'm questioning whether this is next gen, yes the console has next gen hardware but nothing else really.
Another feature i liked was the ability to pause individual downloads and on the phat ps3's, backwards compatibility!!!! i keep saying it but its a feature that's a must in my book so many games i want to play from ps3 on my ps4.

for this they could implement some sort of system that detects if multiple users have signed in at once, if so then show one message and allow the user to click a button to show the friends that's signed in, if that makes sense so one message instead of 20 etc etc.
