...oh how i was wrong! I took my PS4 out for my tv unit and the amount of dust that sat on either sides vent was mad! From where i sit the ps4 looked clean as anything. A quick go round with the hoover sorted it Smile The PS4 doesnt even sound like its on and running now!

Go give it a clean!

I usually clean mine every week or 2. Even though recently I've been using it for Netflix and PS3 for gaming, it still draws in a decent amount of crap from the air! Even my USB ports start to look kinda fuzzy from lint and dust.

Do you open up your PS4 to clean it? I haven't used my PS4 for a while so it's still clean and stuff Happy

no just disconnect it all and use a hoover on the vents then give it a few strong blows in each vent and hoover around it again. opening it up will void warranty.

Cleaned mine as well. My ps4 only gets loud when intense graphics/explosions occur on screen, especially in Killzone. I guess that's how the Ps4 is.

youll notice the exclusive games will push the fan to go high as they use as much of the power in the ps4 as they can, cross platform games not so much.

Yea, i noticed that, and tbh, its aggravates me. My ps4/entertainment system is only a few feet next to me and when playing at night with the television down low, I can hear the fans getting louder and softer. A bit annoying. But I do understand the reason for it. I would rather have the fans blow at one constant speed when in game.
