(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So we are like 1 week into this new update and for me I love it! The fact that I can put my Elgato to good use is great. I've also noticed a few other little features like the new way to accept friends request which I actually really like. The notifications for your friends joining parties seem a bit pointless but I've turned them off anyway.

I did get a lot of system software errors on like the 1/2 day of the update but they have since cleared up which is great.

That being said, what do you like best about this update? I've never tried sharefactory so I can't comment on that but I'm sure some of you guys have had some fun with that!

ROLL TIDE!!!
I don't really like how they changed the entire "record" idea. The entire point of always record was so that you don't have to record. Just do somethign cool; hit a button and you got it. Problem is that very rarely worked...Now I love that they finally gave you options on time. 15 minutes was way to long on the situation as it used to be. You do something cool, it isn't 15 minutes it is 3 mintes at most.

Now you have to record first. Then do it, so it is just like a pvr now. They don't do the always record. Unless there is something I don't know about. But I'm pretty sure I got it right.

So I like there is options on the time limit. BUT; since it isn't always recording now...it is pointless to me.

I have a hd pvr 2. So, basically they made the ps4 recorder pointless to me. I have no need for it anymore

I found the share feature never worked so great for me as well. It's great that we can use out own devices now which is all the better!

only thing that annoys me is the slow friendslist pretty buggy at the moment, probably why they didnt include friend online status notifications in this update.

other than that its good!

The friend list is still a bit laggy for me as it takes ages to load, ive also had numerous error messages and also my ps4 either keeps freezing or every icon on the home screen will turn into the same one and i will be unable to select anything so i have to turn my ps4 off, then it doesnt shutdown properly so then i have to pull the plug :/

Other than that its fine

Honestly. Doesn't effect me. I don't see much difference. I will be much more happier when they have theme support and USB Video Recording.

I agree with you - I hate switching HDMI cables on my monitor and now I can use my Elgato as a switcher and use it for recording Happy

A problem some may have with friend notifications are people who have a silly amount of people added, now i cant see people having 2000 friends but i wouldnt put it past alot of people, imagine if you have say only 400 or so, odds are every minute or so someone would be signing in and out, might not annoy all but it would irritate they hell outa me seeing a message pop up every min or so lol,
this is the reason i try not adding anyone on my ps4 trophy account, wouldnt be bad having a option to turn on and off or notifications when certain people come online but notifying when each person comes online would be crazy if you cant turn the option off, as for recording, the original idea would have been better, i mean on a fps game you cant know if you are going to clutch something or fail, and you dont wana record 100 times to get a single video, other then that loving the ps4 still, final playthrough on infamous and about 70% into deadnation, no going back now!!
