During the earnings conference call summarising the results of the fiscal year ended on March 31st, Take-Two Interactive mentioned that Rockstar Games is hard at work on a “new generation” project due out this fiscal year.
No details were given about the nature of the project, but considering that fiscal year will end on March 31st 2015, it’s hard to imagine that Rockstar could develop a fully new game by then so soon after releasing Grand Theft Auto V. That means that a next generation port of the latest chapter of the Grand Theft Auto franchise is quite likely to be the project mentioned.
Of course there’s no way to be sure about it, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement, that will very possibly come at E3.
