Ubisoft warned about false reviews of Watch_Dogs before the fall of the embargo on the 27th, but that normally doesn’t apply to the printed press, that has to deal with its own dates and times.

One of the biggest French magazines, Jeux Vidéo, has scored the worldwide exclusive on the first review of the game, and according to the scoreboard posted on Reddit by user Mitharyn and translated by Eymm, it was definitely positive.

Gameplay: 5 stars
Everything works perfectly, the ultra-intuitive hacking allows for exhilarating moments in the game.

Graphics: 5 stars
Very solid on the technical level, especially in the sensation of life that makes Watch_Dogs great.

Sound: 4 stars
Excellent ambient music and sound effects, but the track selection is a little limited.

Longevity: 5 stars
Because it’s a open world featuring multiplayer, there there’s an extreme amount of interesting things to do.

Conclusion:
Watch_Dogs accomplished all the hopes placed on it and delivers a successful new take on open world games. Almost perfect, but with a slight disappointment on the story.

Of course this is represent just the opinion of a single reviewer from a single magazine, so your mileage may vary on much weight it may hold, but looks like things are off to a pretty good start for Ubisoft’s hacking epic.

I may have to get this game then really.. I was on the fence about it at first.

Nice! Can't wait to play it, still won't watch any streams which will appear this week, I don't want to spoil it for myself! So tempting though

Same Lew! I'm not watching any video/stream of this game or anything. Going to pre order it tonight on Simplygames. Hopefully it'll come few days before

im more excited for "the last of us" ive been wanting to play it since the day it came out on ps3 but the problem was i had an xbox 360 lol. so i still havent played it yet

Hahahaha I wish I had more self control like you guys. I know for a fact Saturday night I will get on sit their watching livestreams like I usually do on a Saturday night. I will try and avoid the Watch Dog streams, but I know I will click on one and watch it. I did the same thing for Infamous I told myself I wouldn't watch, but I did and I sat their watching for like an hour spoiled some parts of the game I will try my hardest to avoid the streams at all time this weekend lol.

This game is going to be epic. Though I am still holding off purchasing my PS4 version and I am gonna try it out on my CFW first to make sure I like it. While the game looks amazing and is getting amazing reviews I am still always a little skeptical.
