Last of us remastered:

One of the PS3′s most outstanding games if not one of the best games of all time, this will be a must have for PS4 owners played it before or not, the story campaign was enthralling and the multi-player equally addictive. Produced by Naughty Dog makers of the Uncharted series you’ll find yourself playing as Joel a 48 year old male escorting a young Ellie across a post-apocalyptic united states, the PS4 version will include all dlc and release date is set as summer 2014.

Destiny:

Developer Bungie better known for the Halo series on xbox is bringing it’s new MMO with a difference to multi-platform with Playstation set to be the lead, due for general release on Sept 9th there will also be a beta on the Playstation platforms starting in July and still available to those whom pre-order, Destiny will feature a innovative matchmaking system with an ever evolving universe primed by the 10year deal signed with Activision and looks set to reward coop gameplay! with players able to choose from three classes each with there own unique powers and abilities it all sounds a little familiar but giving credit to Bungie for the aforementioned Halo series this has to be one to watch.

Project cars:

What can I say about Project Cars it certainly seems to want to hit big or die trying ‘as an avid visitor of all things and pages Playstation related I feel like I have already played this game! the information, gameplay footage and screenshots have been coming thick and fast for a while now, developed by Slightly Mad Studios and aiming to be different in the ‘realistic driving sim category’ by encouraging a sandbox style game engine with all modes and cars unlocked from the start unlike other well known driving sim franchises, Project cars will also be one of the first games available that makes use of Sony’s new Project Morpheus headset. It is expected to release in November.

DriveClub:

What remains to be seen with DriveClub if you will excuse the pun is how much traction it lost when it was delayed from being a release title (indeed the opening playstation+ offering on Sony’s new flagship Playstation console), Since being thrust back into the limelight by Evolution Studios it seems to be heading in the right direction and still promises a free PS+ version on release (personally it sounds like a demo version to me but beggars and choosers etc etc) at least it will afford the ability to try before you buy, announced for release early October DriveClub appears to be something to keep an eye on at the turn of the year for the second year running!

FarCry 4:

Looking to feature heavily at E3 and the first on the list of the mainstay Ubisoft franchises FarCry 4 is to be set in the Himalayas and will have ridable elephants amongst other things, recently announced and with a release dated as November FarCry 4 really could be one of the outstanding Playstation titles this year if not for the coming years too if it can only build on and improve on it’s predecessor’s, for all it’s good points including an epic single player campaign and an addictive multi-player with a map creator FarCry 3 fell somewhat short of our expectations as it was plagued with the kind of online gremlins that are all too apparent in a lot of games during multi-player including lobby and chat problems.

Battlefield Hardline (tbc):

Recently announced and due to feature at E3 2014. Hardline will be set in the mould of Battlefield and carrying the name but with a difference 2014′s Battlefield offering will offer gamers a different flavour away from the usual military story lines, this time we will get to relive our childhood playtime or emulate many a blockbuster film as Cops and Robbers. With Visceral games doing the single player and collaborating with Dice for the Multiplayer it may be refreshing to having a different angle to what is our favourite FPS here at simplyplaystationgaming.

BF Hardline will debut at E3
Evolve:

With a heavy focus on coop gameplay Evolve looks to pitch 4 players against a monster controlled by a fifth player, published by 2k games and developed by Turtle rock studios it will also feature a single player campaign, with the lush alien planet environment’s that are apparent in the gameplay demo’s and the 4v1 monster hunt take on coop it certainly looks set to offer something new to the genre. Evolve is listed for release on Oct 21st.

Assassins creed unity:

The first truly n̶e̶x̶t̶ now current gen Assassins Creed! Unity will be set in the Era of the French revolution and feature an assassin named Arno, bound to feature the usual parkour and stunning attention to detail the assassins series is renowned for, listed as a Q4 game (pattern forming here) it will be interesting to see how Ubisoft try to evolve the game, personally I am hoping it offers a little more than an annual update else it may become a little stale.

The Golf Club:

Some games just seem to fit under the marmite love it or hate it category The Golf Club will no doubt be one of them and I really had to think about whether this should make the list, but on a whole the Tiger Woods Ea series really seemed to bring together the community of gamers we play with, in fact we even had competitions with other gaming communities. Played without the competitive challenge of something like Fifa nor the intensity of a FPS like Battlefield we found that you tended to have players finding players of the same sort of level, The Golf Club will also feature a course creator so will be plenty of scope for longevity. Set to release late spring which should mean anytime now it should offer and alternative pace of gaming.

WWE 2K15:

Another love it or hate it title (depending on your inclination for men in spandex outside of the marvel or dc universe’s) WWE 2K15 much like EA Sports UFC will probably have a larger appeal to fans of the real life incarnations, however it still manages to score highly in sales year upon year which earns it a place in our most anticipated list, featuring characters from the WWE universe 2K15 offers you the chance to strut your stuff in the ring whilst laying a smack down or two on your friends, pencilled in for the now over loaded October period WWE 2K15 should give Playstation fans of the fight genre something to appease there appetite.

Fifa 15:

Finally where would a most anticipated list be with out the usual christmas number 1′ whilst not officially revealed yet EA have been teasing an announcement on their official twitter account stating that June 9th will see the game revel also fittingly the day before E3 officially kicks off, so expect some kind of gameplay and hype during the EA press conference. Likely to feature the same gameplay that has become the staple of the current fifa games including online and ultimate team, we will most likely see improvements and tweaks rather than a full on overhaul. personally I would like to see the online and pro modes get some tlc.

Of course there will probably be a few surprise announcements at E3 and many other games that you may be looking forward to already! feel free to comment below and tell us what we have missed …….. You must login or register to view this content.

Israeli/Palestinian Unity
I'm looking forward to The Golf Club and Assassin's Creed Unity the most. I hope we get some good gameplay of Assassin's Creed Unity at the E3 and not just an action trailer.
