PlayStation Now has been eagerly-awaited by fans on Sony’s lineup of consoles with its ability to stream a variety of older titles to numerous devices, and luckily those lucky enough to have one of Sony’s new 4K Bravia TVs (or select 1080p models) might get the chance to test out the service themselves.

Sony has announced over on the company’s blog that the “Private Pilot Service” of PlayStation Now will be coming to Sony’s lineup of Bravia 4K Ultra HD TVs, along with a select range of 1080p HDTVs, next week for users to test out the Gaikai-powered streaming service. Users with these models of TV sets will be given access to the service and a selection of titles available to rent on June 30th, 2014, with nine Bravia TV models currently available now and able to use the PlayStation Now service.

Pay 4000$ just to play PS Now... yeah that isn't happening Sony.

I'm pretty sure you're thinking of the wrong 4K lol. It's the resolution, not the price. :p

Playstation Now current model appears to be based off what the pubs want.
Which is not a wise move for many reasons.

In my eyes Sony should take the lead and offer all new titles for $40 or lower on release. Every new title released at retail gets added to PSN for free.
On top of this all games you should be able to demo on the service, this should be checkpoint based over time.
Over time the price needs to come down based in line with current retail models, as for renting games should be something like $1 and linked to check points.
Wish to buy a games online mode, go ahead and enjoy a discount.
Turning Playstion now into the Netflix of gaming is the route they should take offering PS+ users a discount on the service say a extra $10 a month for every title in the store.

True, it really depends on the manufacture and size. You can find a decently priced 4K tv around $2k, hell I think Sony's got one that is exactly $2k. :p

Sony 4K cost a few thousand USD. No thanks. I don't care about streaming games that badly. Hell my internet would laugh at me anyhow.
