Playstation Now has been in closed beta for a while. The beta will change from closed, to open, so that it is publicly available for all Sony platform users in the US. It will begin with 100 games to start with, however, the list is currently unknown.

Playstation Now prices were originally frowned upon due to it's high price tag. The prices that will be finalized have not been announced as of yet.

My friend had the open beta, and said all of the games were shit. Also, he has Windstream internet, speeds varying from 3-5 MB/s download speed, and 1-2 MB/s upload. (The upload varied usually staying in the mid to upper kilobytes.)

So if you have internet speeds like that, good luck. He said most of the time he was unable to play because his internet was too trashy.
I did some troubleshooting with him, trying to improve speeds, and so forth, with zero luck. Anyways, as far as we know, you cannot do the cross-platform gaming we had all initially hoped for. It was old shit games playable on the PS3, and some weird shitty indie games on PS4. Only time will tell if this changes, and remember; beta's are for "stress testing".

Well with speeds like that of course that is going to happen lol. I don't think the games will get any better anytime soon. I Would rather just play my ps3 instead of paying to play games that I already have just to play them on ps4. Why else would any one want ps now I don't see the attraction to it.

This is a pathetic attempt. They can do this, but BC would've made the PS4 cost too much. BS. They drew this up as a way to gain more money.

Regardless, no use to me. On that PC level now, only keeping my PS4 for games that aint on PC (LBP3, DriveClub, etc.).
