Do PS3 trophies sync if you buy the PS4 version of that game? in other words I have The Last Of Us for PS3 going to buy same for PS4. The trophies are the same, do they count as done or do I have to play again?

I would imagine Cause they are separate editions that you would have to get them again. dont quote me on that but you should b able to check thru your trophies on your ps3 & if Last of Us has [PS3] [PS4] under it then it you won't have to get them again. Also note that I only played the PS4 version & I earned no trophies while playing thru it on survival mode while not signed in, completed game and received no trophies, .

OK something to think about, thanks for the info. I just don't see myself buying a game again just for the story.

you will have to earn the trophies again as anything that was ported from the ps3 to the ps4 will have there own set of trophies.

but if the game was made for both ps3 and the ps4 aka destiny then they will share the trophies.

This is what I do: I go onto the psnprofiles website and type whatever game that I'm thinking of buying, and it will show you if it has a seperate trophy set or not.
