Once the cause is known, or the outage is resolved I will update this thread.

Update 1:
It seems the service is in a state of "Up and Down" I was able to get online services for a few minutes, then received the error again.

Beware of logging out, you may not be able to login again.

@AskPlaystation is telling users having the issue to "Contact their local support"
