I think if you never owned a PS3 and have a nice internet connection, it's certainly worth the money to have ACCESS to all of those games. On the other hand, even if the signal is traveling at the speed of light, there is ALWAYS going to be latency in the connection. So it's not the most ideal way to play any game, and some games on there are going to be downright unplayable with how twitchy the controls are. But if it's the only way for you to play those games, I'd say it'd be worth it if you can power through som of the catalog in a decent amount of time.
