It has been speculated that Sony will announce the hardware at the event and then make it available to purchase immediately.

Another possible point of discussion is the PlayStation Neo, which was You must login or register to view this content. prior to E3 in June. The hardware is more powerful than the current PS4 and features improved graphics and support for 4K resolution.

Despite these improvements, the Neo won't supplant the existing PS4. According to Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Andrew House, the Neo is "intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4."
