I sort of do and sort of don't understand how they work I get that a patch for lets say waw is just a replaced file in the game data utility so that is why backups work because instead of transferring it you can restore it. But a few questions I have are..

Does it work on the current update? 5/28/2013 current date this was posted

If so what do I have to do to acquire a backup or make one?

Would the patch stay every time I restart console or does it auto update it self to put the files to default?

I'd really like a reply or someone to discuss this with on Skype I'm thinking of buying a jail broke ps3 but do not have to money at the moment.

DO NOT EVER GIVE YOUR CONSOLE ID TO SOMEONE WHO U CAN NOT TRUST BECAUSE IS THEY GET IT BANNED YOUR CONSOLE WILL BE BANNED ONLINE

Where can I find my console ID? And well that kind of sucks don't know anyone with a jailbroke ps3.

u cant get your console id anymore so your out of luck
