Post: Issue between webman and World At War causing freezes / black screen
11-10-2018, 05:35 PM #1
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Since webman version 1.45.10, the 'disable syscalls' feature (r2 + triangle) now disables syscall 8. This is fine for most games, and offers improved anti-ban, but causes world at war multiplayer to black screen during the loading.
There are 2 methods to fix this:
1. Don't press r2 + triangle until after you have loaded world at war. The only issue with this is that if you want to go back to xmb, you will have to restart your console because you cannot start waw again.
2. Go to the webman settings page and change this option to say "ENABLED" so PS3MAPI is enabled (which allows waw to load fine). Picture: You must login or register to view this content.

Hopefully this helps someone.
