Here is a tut on editing your cp for Final Fantasy 13. I would suggest after getting your gamesave from your HDD to make a copy of it, so you have a backup if you screw anything up. You can repeat this process whenever needed.
Things you will need:
-Transfer Cable
-Game Save
-Xplorer360:

Step 1: Drag/Drop gamesave from HDD to desktop

Step 2: Open Save in Hex Workshop

Step 3: Search for each character
Click Edit, Goto…

-Enter one of the following codes in Offset (Repeat for each character)
Lightning - 00034DCF
Hope- 000332CF
Fang – 000317CF
Snow – 0003764F
Vanille – 000383CF
Sazh – 00035B4F
-Make sure you have
Beginning of File and
Hex checked
-Click go

Step 4: Changing Values
00034DCF will show as 00034DC0
- 30k-50k cp from editing the last two bytes to "FF" (F)
- 2-9 million cp from editing last four bytes to “FF FF” (E, F)
- 1-2 billion cp from Editing last six bytes to "FF FF FF” (D, E, F)
** These Values may vary from character to character **

** When you load your game, make sure you use up all the cp you can. After you gain more cp from killing enemies your cp will balance out at 999,999 **
** If you try to use your cp and it is negative, your cp will reset to 0 and you will have to repeat the steps above but lower the value. **
