I've never seen one besides maybe a video or 2.
Can someone tell me the pros & cons of each different type of them?

I've heard there's different ones like Xenon, jasper... ETC..
also, what type of things (besides my listed ones, can u do with a jtagged xbox?)

What i wass do with it:
Play games from harddrive
Make modifys game lobbys for whatever.
Use keyvaults just incase i get banned
(What else can u do with a jtag?)

Im most likely going to buy from craigslist. I have enough money to buy whatever one.

How do u find new Keyvaults & how come ive been told you can only use 1 keyvault per "lobby"

erm...sounds like you don't quite get a few things. Basically an xenon jasper etc isn't the actual jtag, it is the motherboard your xbox has. If you are buying one there is no difference at all, apart from xenons are generally cheaper, and keyvaults for xenons are also cheaper (as you can use type one keyvaults) now onto the keyvaults. A keyvault if your xbox's 'number'. And it is what microsoft ban from xbox live. Your xbox already has a keyvault in it, after around six hours microsoft WILL ban it. You then would need to replace it with another keyvault to go online again, this is why you only need one keyvault, it is pointless/impossible to have two. A point to remember at the moment is that you cannot go online with a jtag no matter what, because of the new dashboard update. A new reboot for the new dash is yet to be released, so right now you can't go online anyway. On a jtag you can also run emulators, and use unsigned code (modded lobbies and just modding other games) hope that was helpful in some way sorry i babbled so much :L

I'd either get a Xenon or a Jasper. With the Xenon you can use type 1 and 2 Keyvaults but the Jasper is less likely to RROD.



The purpose of a JTAGed Xbox was to make it act as a emulator, it was never intended to go online with. That being said you can pretty much get any emulator on it (SNES, Genesis, Xbox, MAME, etc). You can also load Media players onto it, change the way the dash looks, etc etc.



Keyvaults last about 2-4 hours once youve gotten online and they unban your JTAG. No you cant use a hour then get off to try to "save" the rest of it. Once you get online your time starts ticking. As for buying Keyvaults, look around the web. Me and e0tl sell them and so does Snowy Modz (Although if you get a JTAG you cant get online right now because of the dash update)
