You corrupted your profile. What his video doesn't mention is that you need to keep the byte amount the save, one less or one more character then it was originally and you've corrupted your profile.

First off, you should have made a backup before messing with anything. To sort it out simply delete your profile from your harddrive (Not the option to delete all of the data!) and then just recover gamertag. That should work.
