don't know m8... sorry to hear that, but if you loose your acount your turkey twizzled.
but there is one thing, i manajed to f up when i first started(i deleated my cod 5 acount) but everytime i went on cod 5 it would create a new acount for me with all my saves and everything, only difference was that i lost where i was in the story lol. hope i helped.

Did you open your gamesave or your profile in HxD?.

What I done when i used to mod my profile before I done anything I made a back up folder on my desktop and put a original copy of my profile in there.

If I messed up I could just grab my back up

best thing to do is try and look for the origanal version of the profile and copy it to ur desktop and move the origanal back into your main harddrive thats if you can find the origanal but good luck with what ever you try.
