Step 1 Learn how to add games to your profile

Step 2 Add the Xbox 360 Dashboard to your list (FFFE07D1)
Step 3 Delete the Xbox 360 Dashboard from your Game History.
Step 4 Your Bio, Gamerscore, and Game History will now be gone.
Step 5 Wait a little while for it to update on Xbox.com.
Step 6 Once you see that you have no Gamerscore or Game History on Xbox.com just recover your gamertag

My gamerscore is reset but my game history hasn't gone it's taking ages, i have heard that if you have unlocked achievements after being reset this will not work.
