go to your search buttons and type in Devcice manager and click on disk driver find your cable and update it

If you are running Windows Vista then you must right click and hit run as administrator. You also need to let the hard drive's driver software install before trying to open it.

well i got it to work i know this is going to sound stupid but i backed the cord off the hdd and listenend to the hdd and it started humming so all i had to do was back it off a little thanks for your help guys modded zobies is awesome
