Here's the story... please no rude comments that say "buy another membership, you shouldn't have talked trash...etc."
My brother has been BANNED on XBOX Live for 1 month! It's not fair - he never talks through his mic, people just give him bad rep because of the lag we have. We can't help it because of where we live (only when people are on computers).
Is there a way we can contact Microsoft explaining how our ban is unfair? Please help, I feel bad for him.
Yes but they don't care you don't get banned through rep , you get banned from people filing complaints and then microsoft following up on them most of the time they don't even read what it is , try going to xbox.com and sending them an email
Email wont do anything, Microsoft just don't read emails. You'll get some generic machine response. However if you phone, you'll probably be successful but it will cost you a bomb. Either way you lose to the money hungry slobs at Microsoft. Id just sit out the month personally... and not suffer the stress of Microsoft more than you already have to.
Even if you phone them up and manage to get un-banned, there is nothing stopping it from happening again if you got the reports through bad lag. You should have at least 1MB minimum to play Xbox live anyway, and with the lag you get I'm assuming you are not at the 1MB, meaning if he gets un-banned, you will still lag and maybe get banned again. If you can't afford to upgrade to a faster speed, you basically have two choices. Either don't play when other people are on computers, or just don't play LIVE at all. It might sound harsh, but people are complaining and -repping you because your lag causes them to have an un-fair game and get pissed off.
