the ps3 is a higher quality console, but the network of the xbox 360 makes the xbox 360 a better console to own in my opinion. if they could combine the best of both that would be f**kin awesome

He never said they should do it, he's asking what the console would be like. The PS3 has good media stuff such as Blu-Ray, Internet and so on, and IMO (I have both btw) the Xbox has the better quality (apart from the Red Rings) and just seems overall better than the PS3.

No... you can play FFXI with people on PS3, Xbox, And PC, regardless of your console.

This would be a monopoly. Sony and microsoft would run this gaming business and soon, things would become terrible. How do $100 games sound? They would have the ability to set what ever prices they wanted and make garbage products because they're all we have. Remember back when computers first came out and products were bug ridden and bad quality? It was this way until apple came around and gave them some competition. Microsony's only competition would be nintendo and the wii:p Good luck with that. All I have to say is, I hope I never see the day when two super gaming companies become one.

Someone who realises that the Xbox is better.. with both Xbox and PS3.. People think I'm mad but it's the cold hard truth

I think, if they could pull this off, it would be the best thing that happened to either console, allthough, imagine the server size + how long it would take to rewrite codes
