Yeh there is a ring of death, like most have explained. You get different ones for different things. Like if you get 3 lights, its dead, if you get 4, its because a wire is loose or somthing. Ive only heard that...

And it wasnt a wire loose. We tried 3 different sets of wires. We tried the towel trick ETC, and it was dead. Rang up microsoft and they extended my warrenty to 3 years so YAY!

I think also but PS3 when it dies it never tells you it just doesn't recive a connection lol so RROD is better than not reciving a connection from the system,btw when my friend gets it all the time and he just uplugs it,is there different types of RROD?
