Hi, I'm a noob to this forum and I say sorry in advance if this has already been covered. Can someone please explain in detail what is the best hdd to buy and how to hook it up via usb to my xbox.

All I want to do is have all my music on a portable hard drive that I can play through my laptop and also then plug and play through my xbox.

I've heard so many conflicting stories that it can and can't be done so if anyone can settle the arguement for me, that would be great. Will movies also play via a plugged in hard drive and what format do they have to be in?
