I see people on YouTube getting 1.7k XP but I do it in a free roam with at least eight players, 22 kill chain, no deaths & finish it in under 1 minute but seem to only get 400 - 900 XP each time. Could anyone give me a reason for this, what am I doing wrong?

If you didnt know,
Patch 1.02 fixes the bonus xp glitch. And that is the reason you wont be getting 1500+ xp on gang hideouts anymore. But its possible getting that amount of xp again... By deleting the patch (game data utility) not the save. And playing on LAN, By not downloading the patch you will be automatically signed out, Though you will be offline you will still gain xp, level up and gain the How The West Was Done trophy.

thanks for that, yeah i repped you. I didnt know it was a glitch i just thought it was a reasonable amount of XP you should get for a doing a gang hideout.

I did this earlier, Pretty sure it doesn't work. As i was only getting 600 exp. But i only had a 11 kill combo as i didnt have the Bolt action

You should do it at Solomons Folly its easier and you can get 2000 xp even if you dont get a 30 kill combo, The most xp i got for it was 3600xp, Best way to grind solo
IMO Twin Rocks is a shit place to grind for xp unless your playing with another player.
