1 - Has all the consoles been sorted from ring of death or is it still common to get it even with a new one?
2 - I would be getting it and wanting to flash it to play back-up games how hard is it to do this ?
3 - As i have a ps3 as my main system would the arcade version do my job fine?
4 - How much does xbox live cost (i live in the uk)
5 - Is there anything else i should know?

Answers:

1) The ring of death is still happens, but it doesn't happen as regularly as it did. It used to happen after a year of owning an xbox, now it happens over 2 years.

2) More difficult than a PS3.

3) The arcade version would suit you fine, but it doesn't come with a hard drive.

4) It varies on which payment option you wish to take, but the cheapest would to be to pay for a year, which is £40.

5) Is there any other reasons? It has a great xbox live community, which will amuse you for hours on end.
