I provided MS with the email address associated with the account, but that's about it. I think they are messing with me and won't give me the account because i no longer have the CC # which i used to create the xbox live. Anyways, they told me that because i hadn't used the account in over 3 years that my account has been corrupted. I think this means that i don't have enought information to prove that this account is mine (wtf email won't suffice?). Can anyone help me out here, maybe i can say something in a certain way that will get them to just release me the info? Also, they made me change the email address on that account to another one. Now when i call they say that the present email address is associated with a different account.. ugh1

Just say to them that you have been a member of XBL for x* long, and if they are not willing to give you your account back you will switch to a different gaming console. I don't know if this will work but its worth a try a guess.

That kind of thing never works for me. Ill have to just call again and see what they mean. It doesn't make any sense that the gamertag is corrupted when it's never been used before..

Well if you used your actual details on the account instead of some fake ones, just call and say your gamertag (Xbox name), and say you want your password. If they don't believe that it is your account, just say you can privide the details to them like name, address, and phone number. That should work.

As for them saying you account is "corrupt", I think that is BS as how could it have become corrupt, and Xbox accounts are never deleted.
