But yea, I've had my big fat fatty ps3 since the release, and on my ps3 slim, I got YLOD after like 6 months.

Google it or ask anyone. They'll back this up.

I Google'd it. No luck. All I got was PS3 'Slim' owners being pissed off (for a stupid reason, to be honest) that it still ran hot, nothing about it being as hot, nor hotter, though.

I still don't get how people are disappointed that the system still gets hot after a while... It's going to, it's freaking electronic for christ's sake. xD

Anyways, both versions of each console emit heat, it happens. : /

Proved me wrong i guess. But for some reason i always thought the ps3 slim ran hotter cause if its compact size. Maybe gets hotter quicker? Oh well.

And for some other reason i thought i read in the past about slims being hotter than the originals, but once again oh well.
