(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); ok, I have a problem. I have created a lag switch and attatched it successfully to my ethernet cable, but the problem is, whenever I flip the switch, I get about 3 seconds of lag adn then I lag out. even if I just flick it off for 1 second and then flip it back, I still get disconnected eventually. I have seen people who have used lag switches and it could last 20+ seconds before disconnecting. I have it set so that the orange wire is connected. Should I try the green instead or just forget it?

Well if you have a newer ethernet cable there is more of a chance it will NOT work. You can try and buy an older ethernet cable. You can also change the duplex to something lower. I use 10half or regular base duplex for the PS3. Hope that helps.

Edit: or try the green wire
