(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi, I turned on my 360 and ONE red light came on, bottom right, I'm not sure if this is actually proper RRoD but anyway. I tried replacing cables (borrowing friend's one anyway), nothing. and now I am about to get it replaced, anything I should know or do before I call them up? Have I tried everything?
(I've tried turning it off and on again lol, and also just unplugging it and stuff etc.)

help! thanks Smile

Yea if you want to fry it some more

Nope, Microsoft uses a cheap compound to Adhere the CPU's & Heatsink to the board. It needs to be cleaned off with Alcohol and then re-applied. Then drill some holes through the frame of the 360 then remove x-clamps. then place bolts, washer, and nuts through the board slots then into the case. Also recommend purchasing the whisper fan, and having an intercooler. to prevent future issues.

Thats the dumbest idea in the world. You will pretty much guarantee that it will not work for much longer.

What do you mean if it is orange the AC Adapter is broke? I have an Elite and mine was orange from day one and have never had any problems (almost a year and a half now). Are the Elites different?

Do a barrel roll!
It seems like there not, I just purchased an elite 9 months ago, and I got the bottom right quandrant light blinking, I also got an E 73 Error not 74, it says something to with the ethernet port but my last xbox did the same thing, i just replaced it completely with the elite but now the elite is giving me the same problem, i figure its cause I play on it at least 10-14 hours a day. Maybe it over heats? But I have it well ventilated. Ace I might need you to fix it for me. Hit me up so that I know how much it is going to cost. If you will do it for me.

You have the E 74 error. It means that a chip somewhere by your AV cables has fried. You can do the towel trick on it but it only lasts for about a day before going again. I just got this, thankfully it was still Under Warranty, so I can send it back to Microsoft, but it will take three weeks for it to be fixed. :(

Also my friend had this problem, he had to get it fixed because it was his solder joints Smile
