When I dont have my mic plugged in I can hear everyone talking on Xbox live, but as soon as I plug in the mic then I cant hear anyone talking.

So basically if my mic is plugged in I cant hear anyone on Xbox live.

Can anyone help me I cant figure out how to fix it.

You have to adjust the volume in the game settings and change some settings in system settings. Read the booklet that came with it, it tells you how

What is a turtle beach XLC? Never heard of it... I had the exact same problem when I got my first X4's. I just went back to Best Buy and returned it and got a new headset which worked perfectly fine. That wire that connects from the headset to the controller isn't very good I'm on my third one. Before you return it make sure everything is plugged in all the way and the volumes are up like someone said above.

you need to go in preferences with the Xbox button and then in voice and select play trough both. there u go.

Yeh just have a little tweak with the setting and you will be ready to go
