Almost everyone on NGU has seen a console mod and/or has done one. Personally, I think console mods are really cool and I wish I could do one. There have been some pretty impressive console mods but, this one takes the cake. I was strolling around on some gaming sites and I came across this one console mod that really caught my eye.

This console took months of hard work. The system features a fire engine red chassis with a metallic gold finished faceplate, and custom blue LED ring illumination. Most importantly, however, is that the right side panel has been modified and molded to resemble Iron Man's chest plate, complete with illuminated arc reactor. Upon initial startup, the reactor becomes illuminated and four cutouts surrounding it light up in unison with the standard indicator ring on the front. The hard drive even comes labeled with the Stark Industries logo.

This system comes with a 120GB hard drive, component/power cord cables, and even a red controller.
When this was first announced, the price was $1,075 on eBay with over 22 bids and over 5 days of bidding time left. I would never pay that amount of money for an Xbox, no matter how cool the console mod is.
